  • Define hypertension in children & adolescents
  • Identify major differences between pediatric & adult blood pressure guidelines.
  • Explain initial evaluation of elevated blood pressure & be aware of possibility of end organ damage associate with pediatric hypertension.
  • Define when referral to a blood pressure specialist is warranted.
